PS3 Yakuza Edition Review And Unboxing
Ok so if you didn’t know my Brother just came back from Singapore and he got a limited edition “Yakuza” edition PS3 and all I can say is this thing is simply awesome, oh and its hacked as well so thats even better its color is white, however it has awesome silver graphics protruding off the top and bottom of the consoles face plate which looks great the graphics are 2 Dragons holding an object that looks like dragon ball?, btw the graphics are NOT stickers lol obviously. The actual features are similar to that of a standard 80GB PS3 however this PS3 was hacked internally so its a bit different to the standard versions. This particular version is quite rare and I have not seen this version online or in any stores, I think it may be an in store Asian thing but in any case it is great aesthetically there are a few very slight changes such as the graphics and the Blu ray drive looks a bit different and some lights other than that its pretty much the same.
Upon opening this PS3 and booting it up I noticed that it appeared to have slightly sharper graphics than any of the other PS3’s, maybe thats just me or maybe that was a hack I have no idea but it looks great and it runs very smooth obviously it has all the features of a normal PS3 such as:
- 1080P HDMI Output
- Upgradable Firmware
- Wifi
- 80GB Internal HD
- Optical and analogue audio
- USB 2.0 ports
etc. all in all this system is great I definitely give it 10/10 I like it a lot more than the standard PS3, maybe I’m just a sucker for fancy graphics and colors lol but I really like it if you don’t have a PS3 white, black, red or silver you should definitely check it out or get one they are great and definitely worth every cent they provide hours of fun for anyone of any age. @cal: Hey man, in Asia they have in store technicians that actually hack anything you want, I will also be reviewing my brothers hacked PSP but yeh the power plug that you see is apparently for an external PS2 drive so that you can play PS2 games on it via that mini green cable as power you can use that green cable for other external devices as well, its pretty crazy stuff and I haven’t even checked out the hack too much I looked into the software there are a few new programs I have never seen before but yeh its pretty cool.
@Brad: Hey man, Yeh I played GT5 and GTA IV (which my bro got for the PS3) so thats cool and Killzone 2 and he got other games but those are the ones he chose to play.

@Brad: Hey man, yeh the the PS3 is my bro’s and he got GTA 4 its pretty sweet. Also You might want to disable the featurific plugin on your blog because its giving an error line and wont load.

@Glen: Hey man, thanks for commenting, yeh the Yakuza edition PS3 is based off the game Yakuza 3 which sega makes so they put their logo on the box.
Ahh ok. My friends were talking about Yakuza but I thought it was just a part of a title of a game. Its like the Mafia rite? And can I have a link to the unboxing please :-)
