Epson TW-2000 Review

Older, Reviews

So as promised I will review the Epson TW-2000. To start off I would like to say that this projector is honestly one of the best projectors I have seen especially when playing Blu Ray, right now it is mounted onto the roof and its running Component and HDMI through the roof up and over wood and insulation and whole bunch of other things like air con ducts and finally down behind the T.V cabinet, pretty complicated huh? well it looks pretty nice now, the person we hired to install it did a great job its very very clean the best installation of a projector I have seen so far, granted I haven’t seen thousands but you get the point.

Getting into the features this projectors features are:

  • 50,000:1 Contrast ratio
  • Unique light–efficient lamp technology — E–TORL
  • Epsons Cinema Filter
  • Full 10–bit colour processing with 12–bit LCD driver
  • x2 HDMI 1.3b ports
  • Short throw lens
  • x.v.Colour
  • Epson superwhite
  • Deepblack technology
  • And Of course it is full 1080P

And there are more features than that, once it was all set up I played some movies and watched foxtel and played PS3 on it and it was great the Quality was superb especially for a projector on a 100′ screen it has exceeded all my expectations and it appears as though it exceeded everyone else’s too because there’s not really one bad word about this projector and thats part of the reason I got it was because of the excellent reviews it had. I would definitely recommend this projector to anyone who wants to get a new home cinema or if your looking to upgrade, I give this projector 10/10 all the way. Also sorry about the bad image quality I took them at night time so yeh they aren’t great but there something to look at :D .

@brad: I’m going to use it as an alternative T.V so like for example if I feel like playing PS3 or watchin Foxtel on the projector then I can or if I feel like playing it on the Sony Bravia I can etc.

hey blista, i am setting up a home theatre room for my dad.

i am looking at getting a projector instead of a big TV just because of the practicality and number of uses.

he loves his footy and i need a projector with a very fast refresh rate to its clear and fine. it this what you would recommend?

Interesting thoughts here. Are you satisfied this is the right way to look at it though? My personal experience is that we should pretty much live and let live because what one person observes as just — another person simply does not. People are going to do what they want to do. In the end, they always do. The most we can yearn for is to identify a few things here and there that hopefully, allows them to make just a little better informed decision. Otherwise, great post. You’re definitely making me think! –Bruce

  12. I do a lot of number crunching for these types of games because I feel that history can give us an insight of what can happen in the future. As you may or may not know sometimes its impossible to know the winning team in professional football. This is the main reason why I consider using trends for football.

  13. Thank you a bunch for sharing this with all of us you really recognise what you are talking approximately! Bookmarked. Please also talk over with my site =). We can have a hyperlink change agreement between us!
